Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join the New York Water team. You will support the design and implementation of innovative water, wastewater, and climate resiliency infrastructure projects in the New York region.

You will manage planning, design, and construction under the Program Director, with potential involvement in sewer conveyance/storage, real-time control smart sewers, and wastewater treatment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of water and wastewater design/engineering experience for municipal clients.
• Experience preparing design and construction documents for complex infrastructure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, client-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Planning and engineering design oversight for complex water/wastewater assignments.
• Prepare design and construction documents for wastewater/water facilities and climate resiliency projects.
• Review engineering designs, bid packages, and Statements of Work; lead teams and mentor staff.
• Occasional on-site collaboration with client facilities operations and maintenance staff.
• Support grant writing and funding procurement; engage in business development for water projects.
