Job summary

CSA Group is seeking a seasoned Civil/Environmental Engineer in New Jersey to lead water and wastewater consulting projects from planning through startup.

You will oversee design, process selection, regulatory coordination, and construction services while coordinating with clients and project teams to meet scope, budget and schedule. A PE license is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of water and wastewater consulting experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• PE registration preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater pipeline, pump stations, and treatment facility design.
• Experience with process equipment selection, design, and startup.
• Ability to prepare reports and design documents.
• Familiar with environmental rules and regulations in water/wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Support major water and wastewater projects from planning to startup.
• Lead project teams to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Demonstrate technical excellence in design, bid docs, PM, regulatory tasks.
• Assemble and present written technical recommendations.
• Inspect, test, and evaluate water and wastewater systems.
• Manage multiple assignments with project teams.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and understand needs.
• Support business development and proposals.
