Job summary

Verdantas seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Massachusetts offices, leading infrastructure projects for municipal water and wastewater systems and guiding design and feasibility studies in coordination with clients and regulators.

You bring a strong civil engineering background with water/wastewater expertise, NH PE license, and 8+ years in northern New England or a similar setting.

Qualifications

• NH PE License is required; VT and ME licenses are highly desirable.
• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional civil engineering experience in water/wastewater design in northern New England or similar.
• Experience with AutoCAD design software, including Civil3D.
• Strong understanding of stormwater, water and sewer systems, and roadway/parking design.
• Ability to perform field work, including carrying equipment on undeveloped sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and take responsible charge of civil engineering design tasks for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Prepare and certify reports, permit applications, and related materials for local, state, and federal permits.
• Prepare engineering studies and cost opinions for water and wastewater projects.
• CAD design work, including Civil 3D.
• Construction services assistance and contract/bid document preparation.
