Verdantas in New Hampshire is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead diverse, high‑impact projects from resort developments to municipal infrastructure.

You will mentor rising engineers, stamp reports, and drive design, permitting, and QA/QC while collaborating with a regional team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering or related field required; higher education preferred.
• NH PE license is required; VT, ME, MA preferred.
• 9+ years of professional civil engineering experience in northern New England or a similar setting.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and stormwater modeling software such as HydroCAD or similar, WaterCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Sound understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, including stormwater/drainage design, surface water hydrology, water and sewer systems, and roadway/parking design.

Responsibilities

• Civil Engineering design of recreational, municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects
• AutoCAD Civil 3D design work
• Prepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projects
• Design site grading and drainage, drinking water treatment, distribution and storage, wastewater collection, road, trail, and other pedestrian facilities
• Point person in charge of the execution of the technical design and permit application preparation, with assistance from other staff on the team, reports directly to the Project Manager
• Serve as the engineer of record and stamp reports, plans, drainage calculations, and other documents
• Mentoring fellow engineers
• Responsible for QA/QC review
