Job summary

Verdantas seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join one of our New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, or Massachusetts offices. You will contribute to infrastructure projects that benefit communities and support municipal water systems, including multi‑million dollar upgrades and distribution networks.

You will lead feasibility studies and phased design efforts, tackle wastewater treatment challenges, and help advance district water systems in New England.

Qualifications

• NH PE License is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in civil engineering with focus on water and wastewater design in northern New England or similar.
• Experience with AutoCAD design software, including Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and take responsible charge of civil engineering project design tasks for drinking water, wastewater, roads and drainage improvements.
• Prepare and certify reports, permit applications, and related materials for local, state, and federal permits.
• Prepare engineering studies and cost opinions for water and wastewater projects.
• CAD design work, including Civil 3D.
• Construction services assistance, including contract administration and preparation of bidding documents.
