Role description:

We seek a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Fair Lawn, NJ, or East Windsor, NY. You will leverage your expertise in design and construction of water and wastewater projects, manage design teams, mentor junior engineers, and support business performance across multiple offices. You will also be responsible for client management and development strategies in the NJ/Eastern Pennsylvania region.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, construction, and client communication.
• Provide technical expertise and review on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Engage with clients to identify needs and foster relationships.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and teams to meet deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and support marketing efforts for proposals and presentations.
• Travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in water/wastewater.
• PE License in NJ or nearby states, or ability to obtain NJ PE within 6 months.
