Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and operate water treatment plant equipment and controls.
• Monitor tank levels, flows, pressures, and reservoir conditions; adjust as needed.
• Collect water samples and perform routine lab analyses; adjust processes based on results.
• Maintain records and prepare monthly and regulatory reports.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate plant operators; respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Lead tours and provide information about plant operations to visitors.
