City of Temple, TX is seeking a water treatment operator to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the water supply, treatment plant, distribution system, and storage facilities. You will work under supervision and must be available for a 24-hour facility schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include handling SCADA operations, adjusting chemicals, training junior operators, performing lab duties, maintaining equipment, and preparing performance records for shift changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A Surface Water License from TCEQ required.

Responsabilités

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot water treatment, distribution, and storage facilities.
• Use SCADA to control treatment processes and adjust chemicals as permitted.
• Maintain records, logs, and reports on shifts and assist with inspections.
