The ideal candidate has a Level III Utah Water Distribution certification and at least five years of supervisory experience in a water utility, with leadership and cost-management skills.

Qualifications

• Five years supervisory experience in water utility administration.
• Utah Level III water distribution certification.
• Ability to obtain Utah certification within three months.
• Maintenance supervision across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repairs.
• Experience using handheld and large-scale power tools.
• Knowledge of cost accounting related to equipment and labor.
• Leadership development and team coaching experience.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and standard office tools.
• Valid driver's license and safe vehicle operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate projects and standards; develop work plans.
• Ensure daily service is met and required documentation is filed on time.
• Develop goals, policies, and priorities for programs.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff; enforce discipline.
• Lead division work programs with cost-effective operations.
• Set goals to enhance leadership and operating procedures on water issues.
• Prepare and administer section budget; forecast staffing and equipment needs.
• Review contracts, plans, specs, and agreements.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, health/safety, HR practices.
• Perform related duties as required.
