Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, Inc. is seeking a Water Reuse Engineer to advance water reuse projects and regulatory permitting across the western United States. You will collaborate with clients, prepare deliverables, and develop innovative treatment solutions for reuse facilities.

Preferred candidates have 7+ years in water/wastewater or reuse, with PE licensure pursued or achieved. The role emphasizes mentoring, client interaction, and technical leadership within a growing reuse practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering is required.
• Master's degree is preferred, along with licensure as a Professional Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of related environmental engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform analyses and evaluate sustainable environmental solutions.
• Prepare, review, and finalize technical reports, calculations and design docs.
• Design environmental protection systems compliant with regs and project needs.
• Develop plans with defined scopes and objectives and analyze data for regulatory compliance.
• Support permitting, regulatory approvals, and coordination with vendors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance projects.
