Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior integrated water resources planner or engineer to join our Water Resources team. This position involves planning and directing medium-to-large planning projects and requires at least 10 years of relevant experience.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $195,000, alongside comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time away. This position is based in Houston, Texas, contributing to vital water supply and environmental planning efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Self-starter attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
• Technical and/or field experience dealing with environmental impact issues and associated permit processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct planning and environmental compliance projects for federal agencies.
• Prepare, plan, and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct the work of others to complete required studies, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrate extensive public participation and agency coordination experience.
• Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery.
