Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our civil/water resources team in California. You will perform design and analysis for water supply, treatment, and distribution projects, while leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients and subconsultants.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of innovative, cost-effective solutions for water resources challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• CA PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 10+ years in water/wastewater and stormwater planning, design, and construction.
• Experience leading design teams and managing project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design for water supply infrastructure projects.
• Lead the planning and design of potable water treatment facilities and distribution systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate subconsultants.
• Manage conveyance systems and wastewater collection design.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
