Matrix Design Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical, Water Resources Engineer in Colorado Springs to lead project teams and manage complex water resources projects from planning through final design.

You will coordinate engineers, planners, and scientists to prepare plans, drawings, and technical documents for public and private clients. The role emphasizes project management, client communication, and leadership, with licensure in CO or ability to obtain, and a strong background in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in civil/environmental engineering.
• Master’s degree in water resources preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Licensure in AZ, CO, or TX or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience with water resources, floodplain analysis, and urban stormwater.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams for water resources projects.
• Prepare plans, drawings, submittals, and technical reports.
• Manage project submittals, budgets, and QA/QC.
• Develop client strategies and pursue new water resources work.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary staff and external partners.
