Job summary

PSR Talent Solutions is recruiting a Senior Water Resources Engineer for our Austin team, offering leadership across water supply, groundwater, and infrastructure projects. The role blends technical delivery with project management and client engagement in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.

Ideal candidates will have a PE license (Texas preferred), 8+ years of experience, and a proven ability to deliver complex water projects while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in water resources, water supply, groundwater, or related engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Texas.
  • Experience delivering water resources, water supply, groundwater, or related water infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated project management or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with relevant engineering design, analysis, or project management software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to water resources and water supply projects from initial planning through delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership across project teams and multidisciplinary assignments.
  • Support water supply planning, groundwater assessment, water resource development, and related infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, engineering documentation, assessments, and project deliverables.
  • Manage project tasks, programmes, budgets, and technical deliverables.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, scientists, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical input into development and evaluation of water resource solutions.
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Review technical work to ensure delivery to required standards and quality.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Support proposals, scopes of work, and wider business development activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
