Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Design Engineer III- Water Resources in Denver to design complete projects, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and work with multi-disciplinary teams on civil site improvements and water systems.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in civil engineering, ABET-accredited degree, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and MS Office, and a PE license or equivalent AE experience. The firm offers growth, a bonus program, and opportunities to lead client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE registration or 8+ years AE experience.
• 4+ years of Civil Engineering experience and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management and lead workload of engineering staff.
• Meet with clients regarding work, performance, and future opportunities.
• Prepare PS&E packages and design reports for civil site improvements.
• Develop project drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D and conduct earthwork calculations.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and manage schedules and budgets.
