Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Technical Design with CAD coursework or equivalent
• 6+ years of civil design/drafting experience
• AutoCAD Certified preferred
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Ability to understand, interpret, and implement highly complex instructions
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and drafting standards
• Ability to review and coordinate the work of others for quality and consistency
• Ability to interact professionally with clients, consultants, and staff

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to perform advanced design and drafting activities
• Lead drafting operations for development of project plans and construction documents
• Develop, coordinate, and review engineering drawings for accuracy and standards
• Perform fieldwork, documentation, and drafting tasks as requested by clients or managers
• Coordinate drafting activities across projects and provide technical support to junior staff
• Prepare maps, cross sections, and exhibits for client presentations and regulatory submittals
