Job summary

ProChem Water, LLC in Florence, KY seeks a Lead Industrial Wastewater & Water Purification System Operator to own a state-of-the-art facility. You will operate UF, RO, and CEDI units autonomously, ensuring tight regulatory compliance and driving the future operations team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge operating and troubleshooting UF membranes, RO units, and CEDI systems in a regulated environment.
• 3+ years of progressive experience working independently in industrial manufacturing (pharmaceutical, chemical, beauty products, or food/beverage preferred).
• Ability to diagnose mechanical deviations or chemical imbalances and implement compliant fixes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and handle treatment chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize UF/RO/CEDI systems in a high-purity water environment.
• Manage daily effluent streams including chemical sanitizers and rinses.
• Ensure compliance with KEEC standards, DMRs, and local pre-treatment permits.
• Analyze water quality (pH, conductivity, TOC, BOD, TSS) and adjust system parameters.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; perform CIP on membranes and pumps.
• Log data and prepare audit-ready state compliance records.
