Job summary
Arcadis in California seeks a Senior Process Design Engineer to lead mechanical design and process integration for water and wastewater facilities within the California Water Business.
You will collaborate across disciplines to develop comprehensive construction documents, evaluate design options with cost estimates, and support proposals while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring rigorous quality reviews.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience in process mechanical engineering for water and wastewater facilities.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of California.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD and BIM.
Responsibilities
- Lead innovative mechanical design and process integration for water and wastewater facilities.
- Develop construction documents and detailed specifications for pumps, valves, gates, and mechanical components.
- Perform calculations, develop design options with cost estimates, and document rationale in technical memos.
