Job summary

RestoPros is seeking a Lead Water Restoration Technician to perform high-quality water mitigation on site in Eastern Connecticut. This hands-on role blends technical restoration work with field leadership and a customer-focused approach during emergencies.

You will conduct on-site assessments, create moisture maps, maintain drying logs, oversee jobsite safety, and review estimates using Xactimate, while mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with homeowners, insurers, and the team.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of water mitigation or restoration experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must pass background check and driving record screening.
• Strong multitasking and reliability.
• Proficient with job management software and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide water mitigation and restoration services on-site.
• Lead field operations and communicate with homeowners, insurers, and team.
• Create moisture maps and maintain drying logs using software.
• Prepare and review estimates using Xactimate (experience preferred).
• Maintain jobsite safety and organization from start to finish.
• Mentor junior technicians as the team grows.
