Great Lakes Water Authority is seeking a Lab Leader for the Lake Huron area to supervise, direct, and mentor laboratory staff, ensuring compliance with drinking water regulations and related permits. You will manage projects, assign tasks, and communicate complex technical issues across departments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science, 1–3 years of supervisory experience, and Michigan F1 (Drinking Water) or D certification.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Michigan F1 Certification (Drinking Water) or Michigan D Certification (Wastewater).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise laboratory staff within the facility and provide mentoring to team leaders.
• Manage annual budget items as assigned.
• Coordinate and plan work assignments of teams and leaders; prioritize and organize crews.
• Monitor and control work orders, KPI, PM completion, overtime backlog.
• Analyze data, create spreadsheets, trends and KPIs for regulatory compliance.
