Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer for its Water Practice Electrical/I&C Group in Texas. The role requires a Texas Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one, with preference for candidates located in Texas and able to work from any TX location.

You will produce contract documents, develop control narratives, SCADA design, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and PLC/instrumentation details.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to obtain.
• Experience designing control systems for water/wastewater or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce contract documents: plans and specs.
• Develop control narratives, SCADA design, and instrumentation plans.
• Create wiring diagrams, PLC designs, and P&ID reviews.
• Prepare cost estimates and scopes of work.
