We are seeking a Senior Wastewater Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams in developing facility planning documents, process design, detailed designs, plans, specifications, and estimates for treatment plant upgrades, including nutrient removal, biosolids digestion and handling, sidestream treatment, disinfection, optimization, and intensification.

The role includes supporting marketing efforts, managing multiple clients, and expanding our wastewater treatment portfolio. Responsibilities involve leading planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities, preparing statements of qualifications, proposals, and conducting interviews.

Experience with design/build projects is desirable. Candidates should possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, working closely with the Area Client Development Lead and Business Group Manager.

Specific duties include working directly with clients, conducting complex wastewater process design, establishing design methods, data presentation, equipment sizing, leading design calculations and reports, and preparing engineering plans and permits. The Senior Wastewater Project Manager will coordinate staff engineers and CADD technicians to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, presentation, and speaking skills, with the ability to build client relationships and participate in client development, marketing, contracting, and design activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• 10+ years of experience in municipal wastewater planning, design, and project management
• Strong technical background in wastewater process design
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience managing multiple projects and leading teams
• Local candidates preferred
• Active involvement in municipal wastewater industry associations is a plus
