Job summary

Target seeks a Senior Program Owner – Wastewater Programs to lead wastewater compliance across a broad portfolio of facilities in the Minneapolis area. The role drives permitting, reporting, inspection readiness, and program modernization in partnership with internal teams and external regulators.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or associate degree in environmental science or engineering and at least 2 years of wastewater compliance experience, with strong communication and analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental compliance with wastewater focus.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Water Act and wastewater permitting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own wastewater compliance programs, including permitting and reporting.
• Lead inspections readiness and response with regulators and internal teams.
• Drive program modernization and risk reduction across facilities.
• Collaborate with store ops, facilities, engineering, and external consultants.
