Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a Principal Wastewater Engineer in Bloomfield, NJ to lead wastewater treatment design projects, perform hydraulic calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires extensive experience in industrial wastewater treatment and strong client collaboration.

Responsibilities include process evaluations, cost analyses, system layouts, and coordination with technical experts.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years in water/wastewater, with industrial wastewater design.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wastewater treatment design and processes.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and size piping systems.
• Evaluate improvements to treatment processes and equipment.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for project feasibility.
• Prepare regulatory permit submissions and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with clients and technical teams on project delivery.
