Overview

Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects, with responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
  2. Negotiate critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officials of other organizations and companies.
  3. Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  4. Establish and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials, requiring persuasion and negotiation skills.
  5. Prepare proposals, conduct interviews, and negotiate contracts with clients.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with client management.
  7. Deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
  8. Identify needs and coordinate with subconsultants performing services on projects.
  9. Participate in professional associations, present technical papers, serve on technical committees, and hold officer positions in organizations.
  10. Travel when required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering, including wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • Proven ability in the design and construction phases of infrastructure projects of various sizes.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and project teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
