Veolia North America is seeking a senior technical leader to conduct thorough reviews of waste profiles, SDS, and materials to ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maximizing revenue opportunities.

You will mentor and guide staff, establish acceptance criteria, and drive improvements in waste approval processes across operations. This role emphasizes leadership, technical expertise, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in waste management or related field.
• Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge.
• Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Experience with SDS, WIP, and waste profile reviews.
• Analytical chemistry and hazard characterization skills.

Responsibilities

• Review WIP, SDS, and waste profiles with precision to prevent unsafe materials entering operations.
• Provide senior technical leadership on complex waste streams and compliance.
• Lead audits of labpack shipments and approval procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement in approval processes.
• Communicate decisions with technical justification to operations and customers.
