Job summary

You will verify materials, route items to storage, palletize, take inventory, and prepare items for dispatch while following AF regulations and security requirements. Proficiency with the Enterprise Solution for Supply is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Must pass a drug test and obtain a DoD NACI Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with AFMAN 23-122 and AFI 23-101 governing regulations.
• Must safeguard government property and prevent contamination, pilferage, sabotage and damage.
• Not an employee of the United States Government if employment will create a conflict of interest.
• Present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times; show initiative in problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or received.
• Verifies materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
