Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. operates a warehouse in Albuquerque, NM and is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle storage, shipping, receiving, and delivery prep. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in inventory, and efficient material handling within a busy facility.

The position requires the ability to operate warehouse equipment (including forklift), read and communicate clearly, and work well in a team. High school diploma or GED is preferred; construction or materials background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stock materials.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations.
• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to company standards.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as authorized and trained.
• Assist with product storage, material handling, and delivery setup activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
