Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse PIT Operator III in Brookshire, TX to safely operate various forklifts, manage inventory with RF scanners, and support fast-paced warehouse operations. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a growing logistics environment.

Candidates should have 3+ years of material handling experience, a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and cold-storage work may be required; training and benefits are provided by Adecco.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of material handling or forklift experience in a busy logistics/warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with Crown equipment; familiarity with Walkie Rider, stand-up, sit-down, and slip sheet lift trucks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shifts.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication, and solid math abilities.
• Able to work in cold storage or warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of powered industrial trucks (sit-down, stand-up, reach, cherry picker, pallet jack).
• Load, unload, and stack materials in high-density storage areas and elevated racks.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to track inventory and maintain data integrity.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and report issues; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.
