JET Tools in Manitowoc, WI seeks a Warehouse Operator, 3 to keep materials moving safely and efficiently across inbound and outbound shipments, manage space, and support the large-scale shipping of heavy machinery.

You will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager, assist with cycle counts, coordinate with teams, and step in as lead when the Warehouse Lead is absent, fostering safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year post-high school education or 1 year related experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP, including RF devices if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate LTL trucks, flatbeds, receiving, returns, freight cell area and projects.
  • Optimize warehouse space through consolidation and rotate products.
  • Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
  • Perform cycle counts to assure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist managers and employees with warehouse-related issues as needed.
  • Conduct daily audits of warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Operate machinery with various material-handling equipment safely.
  • Move heavy machinery using overhead cranes following safety protocols.
  • Prepare and secure large machines for transport on flatbeds per DOT/OSHA rules.
  • Unload containers and inspect products for damage and proper markings.
  • Stock inventory in designated locations and mark with stock numbers.
  • Produce daily inventory counts with high accuracy.
  • Promote safety and comply with OSHA standards.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Warehouse Operator, 3 you’ll be at the center of our warehouse operations, ensuring that products move efficiently, safely, and accurately through every stage of the supply chain. In this hands‑on role, you will not only manage the flow of inbound and outbound materials but also play a key part in optimizing warehouse space, improving processes, and supporting large‑scale shipping operations involving heavy industrial machinery.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP, including RF devices if applicable
EXPERIENCEANDCOMPETENCIES
  • Understandlogisticsmanagementandmovementofgoods.
  • Understand processes and procedures for all duties in multiple departments, including all of the following: Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Outbound Picking/Packing.
  • Effectiveinventorymanagementincludingvariousaspectsofprocessing,storingandcontrollingon-handgoods.
  • Certified to operate all material handling equipment (ex: forklift, order picker, reach lift, overhead crane).
  • Proven experience operating overhead cranes in a warehousing or industrial setting, with a strong understanding of load charts and crane limitations.
  • Utilize certified forklift experience to safely and efficiently manage material handling, inventory movement, and warehouse operations in compliance with safety standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in rigging and lifting large machines, including knowledge of slings, chain lengths, hitch types, and lifting angles.
  • Coordinating the loading and securing of specialized transportation.
  • Abilitytoread,analyze,andinterpretgeneralbusinesspolicies,procedures,equipmentmanuals,trainingmaterials.
  • Able to lead employees in absence of Warehouse Lead.
  • Abilitytoeffectivelyplan,setpriorities,andmanageseveralprojectssimultaneously.
