Job summary

FirstFour Group, Huntsville, AL, is partnering with a reputable organization to recruit a Warehouse Manager. This role leads day-to-day warehouse operations, overseeing receiving, replenishment, inventory, and the load crew, with approximately 60 staff under two Assistant Warehouse Managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or another industry-related field required.
• Greater than 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.
• Stable work history and verifiable references are a must.
• Knowledge of transportation management software such as VIP or similar software package.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high volume shipping and receiving teams, ensuring accurate physical counts, adherence to product return protocols, bill of lading accuracy, and reworked product inventory meets manufacturer quality standards
• Supervise all Warehouse employees to ensure they are performing their assigned duties in an efficient manner
• Design and monitor procedures to prevent the loss of product through pilferage, damage, or aging.
• Ensure all employees abide by company policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety guidelines
• Inventory management with adherence pertaining to product rotation to LIFO principals
• Oversee product swaps, damage, breakage, and returns
