Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC seeks a Director of Operations to lead grocery and perishable warehouse operations, maintenance, and support facilities at a high-volume distribution center in the United States.

You will own the annual operating plan and budget, drive performance across all DC functions, and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential for optimizing costs, service levels, and talent development.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree - General Studies.
• Excellent communication in English (written and spoken).
• Proven leadership experience in large-scale warehouse/distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate performance of all distribution center functions and address gaps.
• Oversee annual operating budget for warehouses, garage, fleet, and support functions.
• Direct adoption of improved processes, equipment, and facilities to achieve results.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain a succession plan and train staff for advancement.
