Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Montgomery, MN is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee storage, inventory, labeling, distribution and shipping of finished goods and materials. The role emphasizes safety, quality, CIP/OI, GMP programs, and Lean manufacturing knowledge.

You will lead warehouse staff, develop packaging and shipping schedules, manage budgets and implement new procedures to boost productivity while ensuring accuracy and on-time customer orders.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• 5+ years' experience as a group leader and/or supervisor in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inbound traffic for ingredients, supplies and stock product.
• Maintain execution of outbound traffic to meet customer orders.
• Maintain safety, quality, CIP/OI, environmental and GMP programs.
• Set up daily labeling/packaging requirements, shipments and receiving.
• Develop annual budgets and packaging/shipping schedules to meet company needs.
• Schedule and receive all packaging material for production.
• Ensure all employee training sessions are held.
• Supervise, train and schedule warehouse staff.
• Develop new procedures to improve productivity.
• Manage, develop and assess warehouse systems on a safety, cost, CI and customer service basis.
• Other duties as assigned
