Job summary

Charlie’s Produce is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations, staffing and safety at our Anchorage facility. You will optimize receiving, inventory, and shipping, while driving productivity and cost efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in a related field with 5+ years in material management and at least 2 years in a leadership role, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five+ years in material management or operations.
• Minimum of two years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, sanitation, ripening and shipping support.
• Manage employee performance, hiring and corrective counseling with support from Operations.
• Monitor KPIs to achieve operations performance objectives.
• Schedule warehouse staff to ensure productive, cost-efficient receiving of products.
• Direct day-to-day activities: receiving, forklift movement, inventory and sanitation.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance; coordinate equipment maintenance.
