Charlie’s Produce in Anchorage is seeking a dedicated team member to support cold chain monitoring and food safety compliance in our facility. You will monitor temperatures, perform pre-ops including ATP swabbing, and maintain accurate safety forms.

You will work with management to enforce policies and ensure best practices are followed. Attention to detail, reliability, and following instructions are essential in this safety‑sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (reading scale).
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral instructions.
• Must follow instructions, respond to management direction.
• Attendance is critical; employee must be dependable to report to work on time as scheduled.
• Ability to observe and follow proper safety procedures, and a willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Detail oriented and able to keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the cold chain channel from incoming goods to outgoing.
• Verifies temperature in plant/products.
• Pre-Shipment Review
• Conducts Pre-Ops to include ATP swabbing
• Properly fill out and maintain food safety forms
• Work with management to enforce company policies and procedures pertaining to food safety to ensure best practices are followed and reinforced.
