Charlie's Produce, a privately owned wholesale produce company based in the West Coast, is seeking a Transportation Manager in Anchorage, AK. The role coordinates daily operations and budget for the department, upholds safety standards, and provides driver support to meet service goals in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in transportation supervision or management, a strong grasp of DOT regulations, and proven budget/P&L experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation supervision or management role.
• Position leads- TR Supervisor, TR Dispatcher, TR Admin and all Drivers (approx. 30 headcount).
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations.
• Current commercial driving license, medical card and driving record in good standing preferred.
• Must have good business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation operations and department budget.
• Uphold safety standards, compliance and conduct.
• Provide driver support and resolve issues to meet service goals.
