Job summary

Integrated Production Solutions (IPS) in Franklin, TN seeks a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and mentor staff, overseeing inventory management, order pulling, QC, prep, and equipment storage for both production and integration departments.

You will plan and manage all logistics movements, optimize routes, ensure OSHA/DOT compliance, and maintain a safe, efficient warehouse culture with strong cross‑team collaboration and clear performance coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support warehouse staff to foster a positive, consistent, and collaborative work environment.
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and labor budgeting for warehouse operations.
• Train employees on procedures, safety, equipment use, and operational systems.
• Ensure accurate outgoing and incoming orders and shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse per OSHA and company standards.
• Develop and implement warehouse systems and SOPs.
• Coordinate with department heads for smooth daily operations and effective task delegation.
• Lead the QC team in inspections and equipment readiness.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and support reports for lost/damaged items.
• Plan, schedule, and manage all logistics movements, including driver assignments and vehicle use.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and driver hours.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving for production and integration departments.
• Optimize delivery routes, timelines, and transportation resources.
• Maintain proactive communication with account managers, project managers, and external partners regarding logistics updates.
• Facilitate effective communication between warehouse, production, integration, and operations teams.
• Attend production meetings to stay informed on upcoming projects and resource needs.
• Provide timely updates regarding equipment changes, or operational challenges.
• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards.
• Enforce proper use of heavy machinery and staff safety protocols.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions for safe operations.
• Identify challenges and implement proactive, creative solutions.
• Initiate improvements to warehouse processes and technologies.
• Support company goals with ideas to boost efficiency, service, and culture.
