Job summary

GAF is seeking a Warehouse Associate III to serve as a complete backup to the shipper/receiver, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of customer orders. The role supports multiple logistics functions, including Kaizen/CI projects, and coordinates with plant buyers to maintain data integrity in systems like PeopleSoft/Maximo.

The position requires leadership in safety and housekeeping, with flexibility to adapt daily schedules, and to lead and train other warehouse staff as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, logistics manufacturing environment required.
• Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals required.

Responsibilities

• Back up the shipper/receiver and ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Lead shipping and warehousing projects and participate in kaizen/CI initiatives.
• Verify quantities and enter data into systems like PeopleSoft/Maximo as needed.
