Qualifications

• Two years of experience receiving, handling, or maintaining inventory.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Examination will include Reading Comprehension, Storekeeping and Purchasing, Logic and Reasoning, Information Ordering, Problem Sensitivity, Math, Outlook, Excel, and Dynamics AX.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and encumbrances; write specifications and obtain price quotations.
• Requisitions supplies through purchase orders, encumbrances, or bid sheets.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies, tools, and parts.
• Inspect goods received for quality; resolve vendor discrepancies.
• Verify physical and perpetual inventory counts and reconcile differences.
• Compile periodic reports and maintain stockroom records.
• Utilize automated purchasing/inventory systems and monitor expenditures.
• Verify receipt of stock prior to payment.
• Process obsolete, idle, or excess stock and disposal options.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or dollies as needed.
• Establish warehouse procedures and supervise subordinate staff.
