Job summary

Melaleuca: The Wellness Company seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to coordinate daily inventory functions, train associates on SOPs, and ensure GMP-compliant storage. You will resolve system issues with IT/warehouse teams and oversee safe, efficient operations while managing staff morale and performance.

You will also supervise cost-effective reporting, participate in reviews, and coordinate improvements with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy and timely processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and coordinate projects.
• Six (6) months prior experience at Melaleuca or one (1) year equivalent warehousing experience at another facility.
• Six (6) months prior experience on warehouse equipment operation (i.e., forklift, palletjack, handcart, truck driving, etc.)
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.).
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops associates on all assigned tasks and Inventory procedures to ensure integrity and validity with overall plant accuracy; ensuring training and documentation of SOP and safety requirements.
• Coordinates with IF warehouse and IT to resolve system issues affecting inventory validity.
• Observes all associates periodically to ensure proper SOP procedures are being followed and maintained.
• Assists warehouse leadership in overseeing that inventory is stored and maintained in a neat and orderly manner; according to GMP guidelines.
• Cross-trained to oversee warehouse coordinator/supervisor responsibilities during illnesses or absences.
• Communicates and coordinates personnel issues with management; diffusing situations which have a high amount of conflict.
• Organizes and directs staff to perform daily inventory functions; ensuring appropriate reports are distributed in a timely fashion.
• Provides a work atmosphere conducive to employees' comfort and needs (i.e., monitors morale, goal setting, etc.), thus enhancing their ability to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

• Supervises related staff by performing such duties as recommending employment status (i.e., hiring, terminating, promotions, issuing warnings, etc.), interviewing applicants, counseling, training, scheduling, resolving conflicts, coordinating with other departments, conducting associate meetings, recommending wage increases, etc.
