McLane Company, Inc. in New Jersey is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our distribution team. You’ll load and secure products, use hand or powered equipment, and maintain quality control before loading, while reporting any product concerns to a supervisor.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Schedules: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday from 5:30am to finish. Benefits start after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation, sick leave,

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read/write English at a level sufficient to perform tasks and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers safely.
• Perform tasks by hand or using powered equipment as needed.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products before loading.
• Report concerns about product integrity to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
