Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Orla, TX is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate to unload and load freight and operate a range of warehousing equipment from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sun-Tues and every other Wed, full-time.

You will check, sort, label, and scan freight, perform quality checks, and move inventory with pallet jacks, turrets and forklifts. A high school diploma or GED, 1 year warehousing experience, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of warehousing experience is preferred.
• Experience operating high-capacity equipment is required.
• Valid driver's license and DMV record must meet Schneider standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, telehandlers and lift trucks.
• Use pallet jacks and turrets to load/unload freight safely.
• Check, sort, label and scan freight.
• Scan and store inventory properly.
• Perform quality checks, product inspections and material assembly.

Job overview:

• Unload and load freight that arrives to and departs from the warehouse as a Senior Warehouse Associate in Orla, TX
• Be able to safely operate a variety of warehousing equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, telehandlers and lift trucks to perform different tasks throughout the warehouse.
• Use a variety of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and turrets, to safely load and unload freight.
• Check, sort, label and scan freight.
• Properly scan and put away inventory.
• Perform quality checks, product inspections and material assembly.

Skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Experience operating high-capacity equipment.
• Valid driver's license and meet Schneider's DMV record standards.
