Job summary

Sentinel Technologies in Fort Collins, CO, seeks a Network WAN/LAN Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and resolve incidents in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, Cisco WAN/LAN plus ISE expertise, Microsoft/Azure cloud skills, and comfort with on-call rotations. This is a contract-to-hire position based in Fort Collins, CO.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including WAN/LAN environments.
• Must have Cisco ISE experience.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Azure Fabric and cloud networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security fundamentals.
• Highly motivated, self-starting, and proactive, with the ability to identify priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work independently without requiring constant direction.
• Demonstrated initiative and a strong sense of accountability, with a “figure it out and get it done” mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with users and stakeholders.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Must be willing to work an on call rotation schedule
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
