Job summary

Globalstar is seeking an experienced WAN engineer to design, implement, and operate our wide area network. You will manage BGP routing, SD-WAN architecture, and cloud interconnects with a focus on security, reliability, and performance across multi-vendor environments.

The role requires a senior level of expertise with significant hands-on experience in large-scale networks, data center fabrics, and network automation. On-site work in Covington, LA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Networking, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• CCIE (Routing and Switching) certification or equivalent.
• 10+ years WAN engineering experience including architect/lead design roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document end-to-end WAN solutions.
• Own BGP routing design and operations at scale.
• Lead SD-WAN architecture/operations and integrate security controls.
• Ensure network observability and SLA compliance.
