Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Bend, OR is seeking an experienced Certified Volkswagen Technician to join our service department. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of VW vehicles to the highest Kendall and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Volkswagen technician experience at a dealership.
• Current Volkswagen certifications are preferred.
• Ability to work on a wide variety of Volkswagen vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify vehicle issues.
• Perform adjustments, calibrations, and replenish fluids.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components.
• Repair or replace parts, using independent judgment when necessary.

Position Overview

As a Master/Certified Volkswagen Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles. You will use your expertise to perform vehicle adjustments, calibrations, and repairs, ensuring all work meets Kendall and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify vehicle issues.

• Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and resolve any remaining issues.
• Document work completed and track time per manufacturer and Kendall policies.

Working Environment:

• Work is performed indoors in a clean and safe shop.
• Tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools, which may produce significant vibration and force.
• Standing and walking will be required throughout the work shift.
