Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive vulnerability management and transition to a continuous threat exposure management operating model. The role blends hands-on security research with technical program leadership across discovery, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.

You'll lead cross‑functional teams across OS, networks, cloud, and containers, develop risk-based prioritization with threat intel and exploit evidence, and mentor engineers while advancing automation

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security or related field with vulnerability management focus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, information security, or related field.
• Proven track record leading complex technical workstreams across teams.
• Hands-on vulnerability research, analysis, validation, and remediation guidance.
• Experience assessing vulnerabilities across OS, networks, cloud, apps, endpoints, containers.
• Familiarity with vulnerability discovery, assessment, validation, or exposure-management platforms.
• Knowledge of adversarial tactics, exploitation techniques, threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience automating security analysis with scripting or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management workstreams from discovery to remediation.
• Translate goals into delivery plans, milestones, and repeatable practices.
• Conduct hands-on vulnerability research and validate findings.
• Develop risk-based prioritization using threat intel and asset context.
• Lead validation activities and develop PoCs to evaluate controls.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to own remediation.
• Evolve platforms, data, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Communicate trends and program outcomes to technical and leadership audiences.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to standards.
