Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Vulnerability Analysis Subject Matter Expert to lead vulnerability identification and risk assessment for sensitive systems in the Lorton, VA office. You will translate technical findings into actionable remediation and work with engineers, ISSOs, and leadership.

Key qualifications include strong vulnerability management experience, knowledge of RMF/NIST controls, and hands-on use of Tenable/Nessus. A TS/SCI clearance is required to support high-security environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in IT, cybersecurity, and risk management.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment technologies and DoD/NSS environments.
• Ability to translate vulnerability findings into actionable remediation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vulnerabilities across enterprise systems, networks, and apps.
• Assess risk using CVSS, KEV, EPSS, and threat intel.
• Recommend remediation, mitigation, or risk acceptance actions.
• Administer vulnerability tools and scanning strategies.
• Collaborate with admins and leaders to validate findings.
