Qualifications

• 4+ years troubleshooting systems issues, logs, or automation using CLI.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and developing mitigation plans.
• 4+ years scripting, programming, and security code review.
• Knowledge of two or more of Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, Go.
• Experience in identifying vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand vulnerabilities across Amazon's infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Lead detection and analysis through vulnerability scanning, correlation, and prioritization.
• Triage vulnerabilities, assessing severity and potential impact to Amazon.
• Design and implement automation, tools, and workflows to enhance operations.
• Collaborate with software engineering and operations to close coverage gaps.
• M entor junior security engineers and share vulnerability management best practices.
• Partner with leadership to set AVMS strategic direction and report on metrics.
• Participate in on-call duties for continuous monitoring and remediation.
