Responsibilities

• Document technical decisions, architecture, and APIs for the broader org.
• Stress-test Spring Boot systems until they bend, then harden where they cracked.
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for production environments.
• Own a technology service end to end, from Elasticsearch schema to on-call rotation.
• Profile and refactor legacy code to reduce technical debt over time.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technology roadmap discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture.
• Keep the Linux build pipeline green so Garland deploys never wait on a red light.
