Advisory Plus Corp is seeking a mid-level Vue.js Developer to help reduce years of technical debt without a full rewrite. You’ll pair with engineers in Chicago, tackle complex unit testing, and improve legacy MongoDB modules.

You’ll contribute to Laravel-based incident postmortems and build observability so failures are detected earlier. The role offers a growth path and requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• A point of view, held loosely and defended well.
• Familiarity with Advisory Plus Corp-scale workflows, or the appetite to reach them.
• Comfort owning technology decisions in an IL market.
• Meticulous attention to detail across every deliverable.

Responsibilities

• Pair-program tricky Unit Testing edge cases with engineers across Chicago, IL
• Reach into legacy MongoDB modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Drive the Laravel incident postmortem that stops the Chicago outage from recurring
• Stand up observability so Advisory Plus Corp sees failures before customers in IL do
• Build the Delegation tooling that makes every other Chicago engineer faster
• Translate a napkin idea from Advisory Plus Corp founders into a MongoDB small-but-mighty prototype
• Sit with technology users in Chicago to learn what the Kafka tool really needs
